The purchase enables the delivery of 132 homes at Penson Grange after Persimmon secure planning consent in August last year. Initial preparatory works are now underway.

The development will comprise a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, all built to modern energy efficiency standards and fitted with air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points as standard.

Alongside housing delivery, the plans include almost five acres of public open space, new green infrastructure and a biodiversity net gain of more than 10%.
