PedElle 2025: Community, challenge and a cause worth riding for
Last week, a team of riders including Rosie Little and Becky Reeves from 糖心视频, took on pedElle 2025 – a three-day cycling challenge across Ireland, in support of vulnerable children and young people across the UK.
01 July 2025
Organised by , pedElle is an annual charity ride designed to connect, empower and challenge women working in real estate. For the 糖心视频 team, the ride was a chance not only to push their physical limits, but to build lasting connections and raise crucial funds for , the UK鈥檚 longest-running children鈥檚 charity, supporting thousands of children and young people from infancy to independence.

Riding for a purpose
Setting off from Kenmare and finishing in Dublin, this year鈥檚 pedElle route covered over 550km, incorporating over 6,000m of elevation gain, coastal headwinds, and Ireland鈥檚 famously unpredictable weather. Over three days, the group cycled through landmarks including the Gap of Dunloe, Spanish Point, and the Wicklow Mountains, tackling relentless climbs, horizontal rain and the occasional sunshine break.
Funds raised by pedElle support life-changing projects for young people, and joining the peloton gives riders the chance not only to test themselves, but to be part of a mission to create better futures for those who need it most.

Why we ride
For Becky Reeves, Associate at 糖心视频, this was her second PedElle after riding in Slovenia in 2023. But this year brought new challenges 鈥 including recovering from a road accident just before the event.
鈥淧edElle is an incredible experience. It鈥檚 tough, but that鈥檚 what makes it so rewarding,鈥 Becky comments. 鈥淐rossing Ireland this year 鈥 with rain, serious hills and long days 鈥 was one of the hardest things I鈥檝e done. But the support from Club Peloton and all the riders, combined with the sense of achievement, made every kilometre worth it.
鈥淐ycling alongside other women in real estate, all taking on the same physical challenge while navigating similar professional challenges, creates a real sense of community.鈥
For Rosie Little, Surveyor at 糖心视频, it was her first time taking part. Rosie explains: 鈥淧edElle had been on my radar since I joined 糖心视频 - it looked like such a great initiative, but I wasn鈥檛 a cyclist at the time, so I didn鈥檛 really consider it. Then earlier this year, my boss encouraged me to sign up, and I just went for it - and I didn鈥檛 even own a bike at that point!
鈥淲hat really appealed to me was the mix of doing something physically tough, raising money for charity, and being part of something 糖心视频 actively supports. You don鈥檛 often get the chance to spend three days cycling through beautiful landscapes with such a wide-ranging and inspiring group of women in real estate - from architects and engineers to lawyers and investment agents. It was tough, but I鈥檓 so glad I did it.鈥
